Concept Development for Visualizing Blood Flow

We explored how to visually represent the flow of blood, the core principle of CPR. Through anatomical research, neural structure analysis, and visual experimentation on blood flow, the most intuitive way to represent life-sustaining blood flow has been explored.

The Creation of BRAYDEN: Designed for the Confidence to Act

We wanted to create a manikin that embodied the courage to act in life-saving moments, not simply reproduce the human form.Through realistic muscle detail and posture, BRAYDEN represents a human and confident presence that supports effective training. Designed to encourage action, it helps build the confidence to respond in real emergencies.

Blood Flow Visualization Prototyping

To test how blood flow could be shown, we created clay prototypes. LED lines were placed along the body to illustrate the circulatory pathway from the heart to the brain, expressing life-sustaining blood flow through light.

Optimizing Blood Flow Visualization

The speed, brightness, and direction of light were carefully refined to go beyond simple illumination, enabling each compression to reflect the feeling of restoring life. We also studied materials and surface structures so that light could naturally pass through the skin.

Continuous Improvement for Product Performance and Durability

Product reliability was enhanced through a detailed review of the structural design, materials, and assembly processes. Performance was validated under repeated use in real training environments, including compression strength, deformation, and feedback accuracy, to ensure a more robust and reliable product.

Durability Testing for Consistent Performance Under Repeated Use

BRAYDEN manikins undergo durability testing to withstand over 1 million chest compressions. Performance is validated by replicating the load and fatigue of real training environments, ensuring consistent results under repeated use. Reliable feedback quality is maintained over extended use.
